Chicken noodles recipe - a flavorful indo - chinese classic

Introduction:

Chicken noodles is a dish loved by all age group from kids to adults everyone enjoys it happily originally a Chinese dish, but when we give it a desi twist, it became even more flavorful and delicious. Soft noodles, juicy chicken, and crispy vegetables together make a Perfect Combination one that not only fills your tummy but also satisfies the heat. You can make it for lunch, dinner, or even a weekend special meal. And the best part it gets ready in just 25 30 minutes.

Ingredients:

For the chicken

• 200 grams boneless chicken (cut into thin strips)

• 1/2 teaspoon black pepper 

• Salt to taste 

• 1 tablespoons cooking oil 

• 2 garlic cloves (finely chopped)

For the noodles

• 2 cups boiled noodles (egg noodles or instant noodles both work)

• 1 small onions (sliced)

• 1 small carrot (julienned)

• 1/2 cup shredded cabbage 

• 1/2 capsicum (sliced)

• 1/4 teaspoon food color (optional for nice look)

• 1 teaspoon soy sauce 

• 1 tablespoons chili sauce (optional if you like it spicy)

• 1 teaspoon vinegar 

• 1 tablespoons oil (for frying)

• 1 green chili (chopped optional)

• Spring onion (for garnish)

1. Marinated and cook the chicken:

First, wash and cut the chicken into thin slices. In a bowl, mix the chicken with black pepper and a little salt. Let it rest for 10 minutes so that the flavors absorb well.                                           

Now heat 1 tablespoons oil in a pan or wok. Add the chopped garlic and saute until golden. Then add the marinated chicken and fry on high flame. Cook for 5 to 6 minutes until the chicken turns white, soft and fully cooked. Once done, take it out and set it aside. 

2. Fry the vegetables:

Using the same pan, add another tablespoon of oil. Once hot, add sliced onions and saute until slightly soft. Then add the  carrot, cabbage and capsicum.  Stir fry these vegetables on high flame for just 2 to 3 minutes to keep them crunch do not overcook crunch adds a delicious texture to your noodles.

3. Boil and mix the noodles:

If you have already boiled the noodles, great. If not, boil then now. Brain water to a boil, add a Pinch of salt and 1 teaspoon oil, then add the noodles. Boil for 3 to 4 minutes (for follow the instructions on the packet). Drain the water and rains under cold water to prevent sticking. 
Now add the boiled noodles to the pan with the vegetables. Also add the cooked chicken. Toss everything together so it's well combined.

4. Add sauces and seasoning:

Now comes the most important part flavor add.
1/4 teaspoon food color 
1 tablespoons soy sauce (for deep flavor)
1 tablespoons chili sauce (optional for spice)
1 teaspoon vinegar (for a tangy kick)
A little more black pepper and salt (adjust to taste)
Mix everything well and stir fry for another 2 to 3 minutes on high flame. You can also add chopped green chili if you like it extra spice.

Tips:

• Don't overcook stir fry veggies and noodles on high flame a short time so they stay crunchy and maintain texture. 

• Vegetables version if you want a veg version, replace chicken with tofu, mixed vegetables or even scrambled eggs. 

• For a street style taste, add a little extra soy sauce and chili sauce it will give you that perfect restaurant flavor. 

• While boiling noodles, add a little oil to the water so the noodles don't stick together.
